Compassion 479 a separate 501 c3 non-profit organization born out of Cross Church to serve the needs of our community. Our primary focus is Feed 479. In 2025, we served over 265,000 people and 3.3 million pounds of groceries, equating to an excess of 2.8 million meals. This was accomplished through a choice food pantry operating four days a week, five mobile pantries a month, and various other food distribution opportunities throughout the year. Feed 479 supplies the VA food pantry with needed grocery items to assist our local veterans and their families.
